You may be aware that the MyWorkSearch platform has our unique Nudge Engine® – a mechanism to suggest activities or next steps based upon previous usage patterns or an individual’s characteristics.
We switched on daily new vacancy nudging and also nudges based on a person searching for jobs that are very rarely advertised. We also notified advisors where jobseekers they are assisting are getting very few opportunities.
This resulted in jobseeker engagement and activity increasing by over 30%. It is an example of how technology and data can result in meaningful, measurable programme improvements.
It is developments such as this that have resulted in us being shortlisted in the Innovation category of the ERSA Employability Awards.
